Donate to SAMMPL!

Your support of our research is greatly appreciated!

Thank you for considering a donation to support the research we do in the lab. We are passionate about improving the diagnosis of personaltiy disorder, with the ultimate goal of improving the lives of those with mental illness. Generous donations can support our research efforts in a number of ways, such as:

Compensation for Research Participants:
A key focus of our research is on recruiting clinicians to provide ratings of their clients, but this is expensive due to the valuble time of psychologists and psychiatrists. In a past study we have paid $100 per clinician in compensation for their time. Recruiting other members of the community is less expensive, but still adds up across the number of participants we need to do good science.

Buying Research Supplies: Computers get old and software needs to be updated periodically. For example, our lab pays a licensing fee to use statistical software that we use every day. Donations help to ensure that we have the tools we need to do cutting edge research.

Student Involvement in Research: Graduate and undergraduate students are key parts of our lab and we do a number of studies directed by students. Donations can help to defray the costs of partipants, supplies, and travel to present this research at conferences.
